Meso farming without kishin/totem is gonna suck to be honest, getting kanna to farm at VJ isnt that hard imo. No need to rush when you are starting. If you're starting a shadower from fresh I would say, it would be pointless to get meso gear so early on. Except meso gear isn't free, and for the cost of making meso gear you could just fund another boss mule or three.
